The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) is a grassroots organization founded in 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia. AHEPA's mission is to promote Hellenism by advancing policies that matter and promoting brotherhood and sisterhood among its members. AHEPA is the largest and oldest association of American citizens of Greek heritage and Philhellenes, with over 400 chapters across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The organization is dedicated to upholding the principles of civil rights, fighting against discrimination and hatred, and celebrating Greek culture and heritage. AHEPA offers programs in areas such as athletics, veterans support, education, public health, housing, and public policy.
